After completion of this training, students will be able to safely and effectively teach a prenatal or postnatal yoga class. Students will know how to offer safe variations for expecting mothers, be familiar with safety precautions and offer suggestions to help cultivate body awareness and comfort for an expecting mother through yoga. Students will also have an understanding of how to teach expecting mothers the application of yoga philosophy for childbirth and motherhood, offering tools for life for an inspired pregnancy supporting the best possible transition into motherhood.
