YFL Kids and Teens Yoga Teacher Training

This training incorporates the necessary tools for effectively teaching fun and safe yoga poses, basics of philosophy specifically for young minds, and how to inspire the love for movement and caring for their own minds and bodies. This course also includes the power of language for young minds, tips and tools for conducting your kids yoga space, creative lesson plan ideas, and introduction to working with children with special needs.  This course teaches tools for life.

After completing this training, students will have a solid understanding on how to effectively teach kids and teens yoga poses and philosophical concepts in a fun and creative way. They will have the tools to lead yoga classes in any environment and inspire mindfulness on and off the yoga mat, teaching their students and community tools for life. 

• Prerequisite: None. This includes YFL Foundations.
• All students will receive a certificate of completion after completing homework assignments, and teaching a sample children's yoga class observed and approved by Ziya and Jacky.
• Yoga Teachers registered under Yoga Alliance may receive 30 CEU credits.
• Teaching position with YFL may be considered after completion of training, but is not guaranteed. 
• All graduates are welcomed into your YFL Training Facebook group to stay connected, ask questions, get support from Jacky, Ziya and other YFL graduates.

Please note:

Your training manual will be emailed prior to the start of training for you to print on your own. This training is interactive, so please be sure to print out your manual.
